Children and adolescents do not always have the words to explain what they are feeling internally. Anxiety, overwhelm, stress, grief, trauma, or emotional pain can show up through behavior, withdrawal, perfectionism, emotional outbursts, school difficulties, or sudden changes that leave parents feeling worried or unsure how to help.
